PROBAKING/PROCOOKING MAKEUP POLICIES
New School of Cooking is committed to providing the best possible experience for every student who participates in our programs and ensuring that every student completes all of our classes in a series is essential. We make every effort to make that possible but limiting class size is essential to ensure that each student receives ample attention and has access to tools and equipment. This requires students who have travel or scheduling conflicts to communicate with the school’s Director as early as possible Make-up classes typically fall into 2 categories: scheduled and emergency.
The school limits the number of scheduled make up classes in a 20-week series to 2 classes. With a week’s notice it is possible that we can schedule you for your make-up during the same week. If not we will need to schedule you for the following term. There is a non-refundable 25.00 fee for ingredients and materials which is charged to the students account when the make-up is scheduled.
In the event that a student is sick or has a true emergency the school will make every effort to schedule the make-up within the same week. An emergency make-up does not count as one of the e scheduled make-up classes. There is a non-refundable $25.00 fee for ingredients and materials which is charged to the students account when the make-up is scheduled.
